LDG AT-11MP tuner problem????

Not sure if I have a problem or not. With my manual MFJ tuner, I can
tune most frequencies and get a low SWR - the FT-100D display will
show 1-2 bars of SWR. This would be for an SSB transmission.

I then hooked up an LDG AT-11MP tuner, and it tunes and displays low
SWR on its meter. However, when I transmit now SSB on the exact
frequency as above, the FT-110D displays higher SWR - typically 5-6
bars.

So, am I seeing a problem? My assumption is that the LDG AT-11MP is
not tuning as well as the manual tuner.

Any help, suggestions, corrections would be appreciated.

ps - the posted complaints of "loud relay noise" from the LDG AT-11MP
seems to be out of proportion - I hear the relays click while the
LDG is tuning, however, it is NOT very loud. My kittens did not even
jump while sitting near by (they usually jump at loud suprise noises)

The FT-100D SWR meter is famous for being inacurate. If your manual tuner has an SWR meter, believe that. Believe the SWR meter on the autotuner too.

Personally, I had an MFJ VersaTuner 2 and the AT-11MP. I tested both with an MFJ antenna analyzer and a G5RV and I could tune the antenna much better with the MFJ than the autotuner. I sold the autotuner shortly after I bought it.
